Description:
Hydrophilic silicone ultra-stable emulsion concentrate.Hysoft® S500 is an extremely stable hydrophilic silicone emulsion concentrate, based on quaternarized
polysiloxanes, which imparts wicking properties, smoothness and improves sewability after cutting.
The Hysoft® S500 is a hydrophilic silicone emulsion concentrate, containing polysiloxanes,which imparts wicking properties, smoothness and improves the seam after
cutting. It is specially designed to create volume on the fabric, and create a "DRAPE" effect on the cotton. Some of its unique components attract a small percentage of
humidity, therefore creating a fresher-feel.

The silicone fluid has been specially modified in order to make the cationic groups extremely hydrophilic, This changes the whole performance spectrum of the silicone, as
it transforms the fabric into an absorbing fibre, which provides breathability, and moisture management on the surface of the fabric.
Being this hydrophilic allows for users to re-dye the fabric without stripping, and go directly into dyeing. Its high pH stability allows it to remain stable under alkaline
conditions while re-dying,preventing ‘cracking’ or ‘splitting’ of the silicone molecule which is responsible for silicon stains.

Hysoft® S500 is an extremely stable highly wicking silicone. It is ideal for towels, and heavy cotton knits, which require breathability above all.When we talk about softness/slickness we refer to the overall feel of the fabric between our fingers and on our skin. This fabric finish feels soft to the touch, slick to the rub, but not a buttery feel, like hydrophobe amino-quats do. This feel has more body to it, more volume.
